Shanna Draheim

Shanna Draheim has worked with Shepherd since 2006, primarily on our public sector and community clean energy efforts. Her focus has been on energy efficiency, community alternative energy, bio-economy initiatives, and water technology projects. Before joining Shepherd, Ms. Draheim worked for over a decade in federal and state government. At the federal level, she worked for the U.S. National Science Foundation and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency managing environmental grant programs, and reviewing federal energy projects for compliance with environmental regulations. Ms. Draheim has also spent considerable time working with local governments as a volunteer on local boards and commissions, most recently with the City of East Lansing's Commission on the Environment. Ms. Draheim brings significant expertise in energy efficiency programs, grant applications, program planning and development, and community and environmental planning.
