Loch McCabe is the President and CEO of Shepherd Advisors. He focuses on growth strategy, market development and partnership building.  Loch has a knack for understanding stories, recognizing opportunities, developing pathways, and working with others to overcome obstacles and secure needed resources. He backs up his instincts and enthusiasm with methodologies, analysis and due diligence that fosters clearer thinking and action.

Loch works with start ups, established companies, utilities, economic development agencies, universities, and municipalities.

In the late 1980s, Loch helped design and raise money for commercial and municipal recycling programs. In the 1990s, he built the Environmental Capital Network (ECN), which facilitated over $50 million in early-stage investments to Clean Tech companies nationwide. ECN later morphed into the very success Cleantech Group LLC. Since 2000, he has built Shepherd Advisors into a highly regarded management consulting practice.

Loch is a regular presenter, panelist, and writer.  He also serves as a Board Member of the Small Business Association of Michigan, and an External Advisory Board Member of the ERB Institution for Global Sustainable Enterprise at the University of Michigan.
